Paintball Staff Report One of the hottest, winningest teams in all paintball history, the Philadelphia Americans, consistently dominates whatever circuit or league they play in. Led by William "Bill" Gardner, Jr., and his brother Adam Gardner, the team won the world's first NXL XBall league world title in 2003. The Gardners and their company Smart Parts, Inc., are known worldwide for their aggressive marketing, and for sponsoring teams with the power to dominate. The multi-million dollar company manufactures markers, uniforms, and accessories for paintball.  Backtrack to 1989, when William "Bill" Gardner, Jr., and his brother Adam Gardner, founded Smart Parts, Inc., in a garage.
